June 17, BBC attends the Uniontown City Council meeting at 6 PM for health and justice. Please contact Black Belt Citizens President for transport to the meeting. Please contact City Hall at 334-628-2011 to request to be on the meeting’s agenda before Friday, June 14, at 12 PM.
Join Black Belt Citizens and Legal Services Alabama (LSA) for a FREE Civil Legal Clinic on June 20 from 4-6 PM at the Uniontown City Hall Auditorium.
LSA’s Rural Economic Improvement Project will have attorneys on site to hear civil legal issues, including consumer, housing, public benefits, and domestic violence. The provision of legal services will be based on income eligibility.
